What causes messy handwriting?

In handwriting, fine motor skills help children to easily grip and control a pencil and apply pressure on the paper. If a child often breaks the pencil while writing, they might be using a grip that is too firm, or if letters are too dark or light on a piece of paper, the cause might be due to an inability to control how much pressure they apply.

Make learning the alphabet, numbers, letters and sentence building easy with Love Writing Co.

Our Tripod grip pencils have been developed to encourage the correct tripod grip and apply less pressure for neater writing ability.

What are Pre-Writing skills?

These are fundamentals skills that children need to learn and develop before they are able to write letters, form words or numbers.

These skills contribute to a young child's ability to hold and use a pencil, and the ability to draw, write, copy, and colour.

Our Pre-Writing range will introduce essential pre-writing shapes, help develop fine motor skills and get your pre-schooler get school ready
