Deliveries and Returns
In order to run a global shop for the Love Writing Ltd, it is important that we can easily get our products into the hands of our customers.
Calculating the cost of delivery
Delivery charges will vary depending on the number of products you order, the weight and size of the products, and the destination that these items are to be shipped too. This is automatically calculated by our system using Royal Mail prices that may vary from £3.85 to £15 for small packages. All prices are subject to Royal Mail pricing policy.
Exporting outside of the EU
All goods will be sent "DAP" - Delivered at Place - as standard. This means that we will arrange for carriage to the stated delivery address, but that the buyer remains responsible for all costs related to import clearance.
Some countries have strict rules around what goods can be imported and which cannot. Furthermore, the documentation that must be sent with an order can vary from country to country, and we may need to produce commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and other test certificates in order to ensure the goods can clear local customs. When this happens, our team will work to provide the required documentation and if there is a delay in obtaining this, we will contact you to let you know and to give you a revised despatch date. As soon as the all necessary documentation is available, your goods will be despatched. Please be aware that our team cannot be held responsible for a delay in shipping your goods when additional documentation has to be obtained.
Tracking your delivery
When your order has been despatched, we will provide a tracking number for the delivery via email or text.
We aim to dispatch orders within 3-5 working days and delivery is subject to Royal Mail delivery guidelines.
Where possible, your order will be tracked by a member of the team until we have confirmation that the delivery has been made. We strive to offer the highest standard of customer service and will aim to reply to any enquiries that you may have within 24hrs. Returns
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@lovewritingco.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a pre-paid return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Return label fees are deducted from refund amount. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

If Royal Mail have attempted to deliver your parcel and have been unsuccessful, if re-delivery or collection is not arranged by the customer, it will be held in retention with the courier. Once retention time has exceeded, times may vary, the item will be returned to the sender. Once received back to us, a refund for your item(s) will be issued. Refunds will not be made without the parcel returned back to us.
