Tried, Tested & Loved!

Our resources are loved by parents, teachers and most importantly, children of all ages. Independent classroom studies showed that after using our handwriting packs, children have:

Pre-writing skills are the fundamental skills children need to develop before they are able to write. These skills are key to the child’s ability to hold and use a pencil,  draw, write, copy, and colour. A key part of of pre-writing skills are the pre-writing shapes and these are the pencil strokes that most letters and numbers comprise of.

They are taught in sequential order, and include the following strokes: |, —, O, +, /, square, \, X, and Δ.

Our Pre-writing range of writing tool and activity books help support the Pre-writing skills which are essential for a child to be able to develop the ability to hold and move a pencil effectively and easily, therefore helping to produce legible writing.

When these skills are underdeveloped it can lead to frustration and resistance due to the child not being able to produce legible writing.
